Obituary of Bernard R. Roskoski

BERNARD R. ROSKOSKI Age 93 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Tuesday December 26, 2017. Bernard was born February 25, 1924 in Simpson, PA the son of the late Walter and Bridgie Rinkavich Roskoski. He was a Veteran of WWII serving his country with the U.S. Army. He married his wife B. Joyce Packard Roskoski and she pre-deceased him on September 26, 1987. Mr. Roskoski was also pre-deceased by his son Mark S. Roskoski on January 11, 2010 and by his brother Edward Roskoski. He was a communicant of St. Mary Our Mother Church and a long time member of the Horseheads American Legion Post #442. Bernie loved watching sports on TV and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Bernie is survived by his son John H. Roskoski and Pam Cardwell of Coos Bay, Oregon; sister-in-law: Faye Magistro of Horseheads, NY; nieces and nephews: Anthony and Debora Magistro; Michele Jones; Elizabeth Magistro; John and Tracey Magistro; Robert and Renee McCann; Mary McCann Lusk and Jack Lusk; Hank and MaryAnn Packard; Milton and Denise Packard; several great nieces, great nephews, and extended family members. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Friday December 29, 2017 from 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday December 30, 2017 at 9:30 AM at St. Mary Our Mother Church Horseheads, NY.
