Obituary of William C. Hulbert

HULBERT William C. "Bill" Age 84 of Horseheads, NY formerly of Ithaca , NY passed away on Wednesday January 8, 2014. Bill was born in Elmira, NY on September 30, 1929 the son of the late Howard and Marguerite Sullivan Hulbert. Mr. Hulbert married his wife Agnes M. Ungvarsky on August 4, 1951. Bill and Agnes would have celebrated their 63rd Wedding Anniversary on August 4, 2014. Bill was the President of the Horseheads Savings & Loan and he retired as a Regional Vice President for the First Federal Savings and Loan of Rochester, NY. William was pre-deceased by his brothers Robert and Howard Hulbert Jr. He was a communicant of St. Mary Our Mother Church in Horseheads , NY and was active in many clubs and civic organizations during his working career . Bill loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them and will be remembered for his great sense of humor. Bill is survived by his loving wife Agnes; children: William C. Jr. and Leslie Hulbert of Victor, NY; Joseph and Barbara Hulbert of Rochester, NY; Michael and Teresa Hulbert of Orlando, FL; Kathleen and Timothy Palmer of Hershey, PA; John and Terri Hulbert of Bradenton, FL; 11 grandchildren; Andrew and Sarah; Mariclare and Peter (Mary) and Erin; Justin and Trevor; Colin and Katherine; Lincoln and Monroe; several brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of caring friends including a cousin Catherine Henry of Elmira, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Sunday January 12, 2014 from 2-5 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday January 13, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Mary Our Mother Church in Horseheads, NY. Internment in St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery.
