Betty BeCraft Crozier Betty B Crozier age 93 of Horseheads, NY passed away Monday March 14, 2023. Betty was born December 14, 1929, in Corning, NY the daughter of the late Leroy D & Florence Spaulding BeCraft. She was a graduate of Northside High School class of 1949, Pauldine's Beauty School and Corning Community College with an Associate's Degree in Human Services. Betty owned and operated a beauty shop for several years and later retired from Family Services of Chemung County. Betty was a charter member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Horseheads. Betty was inducted into the Horseheads Girls Softball Association Hall of Fame as a co-founder in 1990's. She was also active in The Girl Scouts of America as a leader. She was pre-deceased by her father Leroy D BeCraft on April 24, 1955, and her mother Florence Spaulding on August 4, 1983, her former husband Norman R Crozier, her sister June (Carlton) Farrand, brothers Curtis (A. Nancy) and James (Martha) Becraft. She was also pre-deceased by her son-in-law Steven W Osgood., and her grandson Jason R Erway. Betty is survived by her children Karen (Gary) Crozier-Gustin of Elmira Heights NY, Steven (June) Crozier of Elmira Heights NY, Sandra Osgood of Erin NY, Terry Crozier of Horseheads NY, Richard (Donna) Crozier of Glen Burnie MD, Robert (Cynthia) Crozier of Westminster MD., (17) precious grandchildren, (34) great-grandchildren and (3) great great grandchildren, several cousins, a host of nieces, nephews and many caring friends.Betty loved her garden and would often work in it from sun-up until sundown. If she wasn't in the garden, you could find her in the kitchen cooking or baking her "famous" banana bread. She will be remembered as a kind, loving and caring person. Friends and relatives are invited to a "Celebration of Life" on June 10, 2023 from 12-6 pm at the Elmira Heights American Legion 236 Prescott Avenue Elmira Heights, NY 14903.
