Obituary of John P. Boulas

John P. Boulas age 86 of Horseheads , NY passed away on Tuesday March 25, 2025 at Corning Guthrie Hospital. He was born May 24, 1938 in DuBois, Pennsylvania the son of the late Nicholas L. and Mary Ogershok Boulas. He was a graduate of Horseheads High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from Buffalo University. He married his wife , Mary Donna Lindstrom Boulas, on August 27, 1960 , and they would have celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary in August. John worked in the family restaurant Nick's Restaurant for many years and was a retired Real Estate Agent for Coldwell Banker Real Estate in Horseheads, NY. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his brother Nicholas Ronald Boulas on March 8, 2022 . John was a long-time communicant of St. Mary Our Mother Church in Horseheads. He loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them. John is survived by his loving and devoted wife Mary Donna Boulas; his children: John and Kimberly Boulas , Nick Boulas and Carol Gagliardi , Julianne and David Renko, and Lisa Boulas and Carolyn Secor ; eight grandchildren and their families and five great grandchildren; brother : Leonard Boulas ; sister-in-law: Anne (Mrs. Charles) Michaels and Family ; brothers-in-law: Jim , Joe, and Tim Lindstrom and Families; several nieces , nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends including special niece Theresa Jacque. Relatives and friends are invited to attend John's Mass of Christian Burial on Friday April 4, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Our Mother Church 816 West Broad Street Horseheads, NY.
