Irving L. "Dutch" Tolbert age 89 of Horseheads, Ny passed away on Tuesday May 13, 2025 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Dutch was born in Elmira , NY the son of the late Jesse and Josephine Ketchum Tolbert on July 25, 1935. He married his wife, Rose Marie Boor Tolbert, on June 24 ,19 , and they would have celebrated their Wedding Anniversary on June 24, 2025. Dutch loved the outdoors, horseback riding , and tending to his garden.. In addition to his parents, Dutch was pre-deceased by his brothers Alton , Giles , Melvin ,and Vern and sister-in-law Sharon Tolbert and several members of the Boor Family. He loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them. He was truly everyone's friend. Dutch is survived by his loving and devoted wife Rose Marie Tolbert ; brother and sister-in-law : Frank and Shirly Tolbert of Remsen , NY ; sister: Diane Tolbert of Colorado Springs, CO ; several nieces , nephews, cousins , and a host of caring friend. It was Dutch's wish that there be no calling hours or services . He will be laid to rest in The Boor Family Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
