Paul Forrest Tomkins age 74 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Friday May 23, 2025. He was born February 1, 1951 in Tucson, Arizona the son of the late Paul N. and Mildred Lowe Tomkins. Paul married his wife, Karen J. Nellis Tomkins, on May 14, 1973 they celebrated their 52nd Wedding Anniversary on May 14, 2025. Paul proudly served his country from 1974-1977 with The US Air Force. He loved fishing and was a longtime communicant of St. Mary Our mother Church in Horseheads, NY. In addition to his parents, Paul was pre-deceased by his granddaughter Mary Grace Tomkins and by his sister Joanne Mays. Paul was a retired business consultant for International Profit Association in Chicago, Illinois. He loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them. Paul is survived by his loving and devoted wife Karen J. Tomkins; his beloved children: Paul and Amy Tomkins, Karen Kampus, Matthew and Megan Tomkins, and Amy and Thomas Barr; 15 cherished grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law: Ivan and Karen Tomkins and their daughter Katie; sisters -in-law and brothers-in-law: Amy and Jim Montgomery and Julie and David Gehl; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends. Paul's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday June 3, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Mary Our Mother Church 816 West Broad Street Horseheads, NY. Paul will be laid to rest in St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery in Horseheads, NY where Full Military Honors will be accorded Mr. Tomkins.
