Tori C. Van Zile, age 26, formerly of Corning, NY, passed away

peacefully on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Tori was born on June 10, 1998, in Elmira, NY. She was a graduate of

Corning West High School and attended Corning Community College for a

semester. Prior to experiencing a disabling stroke, Tori worked at

Giuseppe's Restaurant in Horseheads, NY, where she was known for her

warm presence and strong work ethic. Tori had a deep love for music—especially rap—and she was an amazing rapper herself. She impressed everyone with her skills and

lightning-fast delivery that could nearly rival Eminem's. She also

enjoyed playing video games and basketball. Known for her free spirit

and outgoing nature, Tori wasn't afraid to be herself and brought

joy to those around her. She was always willing to help others and

deeply cherished the time she spent with her pets, family, and close

friends. She was predeceased by her beloved cousin, Caden Ruben, who passed

away on May 20, 2025. Tori is survived by her loving family:

both of Breesport, NY; Maternal grandparents, Clair and Nora Marquart of Horseheads, NY;

Paternal grandparents, Sandy and David Hovencamp of Horseheads, NY;

Nieces and nephews: Draven Eno, Timothy Kelly, Aurora Kelly, and Ella

Eno, all of Horseheads, NY; Aunts and uncles: Denise and Rich Ruben of Montour Falls, NY, and Jill Marsh of Horseheads, NY; Cousins: Alexandra Marsh of Painted Post, NY, and Aaron Fulwood of Horseheads, NY. Tori also leaves behind several close and caring friends, including

Shawn Tolbert, Shawan Teeter, Hunter Halstead, Nikaylee Davis, and

many more whose lives she touched deeply.The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nursing staff and aides at St. Joseph's Hospital who cared for Tori with

such compassion and dedication. Your kindness and support meant the

world to her and her loved ones. Family and friends are invited to call at the Lynch Funeral Home, 318 West Broad Street, Horseheads, NY on Saturday June 7, 2025 from 1-3 pm, with

a funeral service immediately following at 3 pm.
