Obituary of Ralph D. Mitstifer Sr.

Ralph Dean Mitstifer Sr. Age 75 of Cayuta, NY passed away on Monday June 2, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ralph was born June 3, 1949 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Walter F. Mitstifer Sr. and Grace Wheeler Mitstifer. He was a graduate of Horseheads High School. Ralph was a Vietnam War Veteran serving his country with the US ARMY. He loved farming with his Dad and was a truck driver for Bruce Patoka Trucking in Horseheads, NY. In addition to his parents, Ralph was pre-deceased by his brother George Mitstifer and his brother-in-law Paul R. Merrick Jr. Ralph married his wife Barbara Ann Eddy on September 3, 1994 and the would have celebrated their 31st Wedding Anniversary this year. Ralph is survived by his wife Barbara Ann Mitstifer; son: Ralph Dean Mitstifer Jr. and his children Alexyss Mitstifer, Daryke Mitstifer, and Dyllan Mitstifer; daughter: Tonya Mitstifer and her children: Gregory Passmore and Anthony Passmore; Barbara's children: Jason Williams, Cheryl Williams Barton and her children Sarah Marie Barton and Zoe Barton; brothers and sisters: Walter F. & Patricia Mitstifer Jr, Marlene & Gary Little, Debbie ( Mrs. George) Mitstifer, Clayton & Betty Mitstifer, Clara (Mrs. Paul) Merrick, Mary & Bryan Benjamin; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. Arrangements are entrusted to the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY.
