Lisa T. Brady Obituary

Lisa Brady (Troger), 59, of Horseheads, New York, passed away peacefully after an extended illness on September 6, 2025, in Horseheads, surrounded by those she loved. Born on January 29, 1966, in Elmira, New York, Lisa was the daughter of the late Gottfried and Jean Troger. She graduated from Horseheads High School and went on to build a dedicated career as an exceptional Buyer, working at Hardinge, Sikorsky, and most recently, CAF USA.


Lisa shared her life with her beloved husband, FX Brady. She is also remembered by her siblings and their spouses: Stacey and John Eustace of Horseheads, NY; Rick and Helen Troger of Horseheads, NY; Paula and Cliff Olds of Leland, NC; Greg and Tanya Troger of Tacoma, WA. Her extended family includes Dennis and Susan Brady of Waverly, NY, and Pegi Brady and Hugh Murchison of Durham, NC.


Lisa was a cherished aunt to Tess Eustace, Stephanie Strole, Sarah Troger, Claire Murchison, Casey Chacona, Michael Troger, Justin Troger, Stephen Troger and Izzy Chacona. She held close in memory her niece Alissa Fodge and nephew Christopher Troger.


Those who knew Lisa will remember her sharp wit and quick comebacks that brought laughter to many conversations. Her sense of humor was a treasured part of her personality that endeared her to family and friends alike.


Lisa found joy in the simple pleasures of life—her favorite place was Valois Point on Seneca Lake, where she loved sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee in hand as she took in the peaceful surroundings. A true adventurer at heart, she delighted in discovering new bakeries and restaurants, no matter how far the journey, turning every outing into a memorable adventure. A devoted Buffalo Bills fan and an enthusiastic listener of AC/DC, Lisa embraced life with spirit and style. She also had a passion for shopping and was the loving owner of three chihuahuas who brought her great companionship over the years.
