Welles, Nancy Virginia age 77 of Big Flats, New York passed away on October 7, 2025 at Riverview Manor in Owego New York following a lengthy illness. Nancy was born on February 23, 1948 in Elmira New York, the daughter of William and Virginia Welles. She was a graduate of Horseheads High School in 1966. Following high school, she was employed by State Farm Insurance in Corning. Later, she pursued several avenues of interest and more recent years focused on her enjoyment of art and crafts.

She is predeceased by her parents, William and Virginia Welles as well as Nikki (Bush) Welles spouse of Stanley Welles. She is survived by her brother Stanley Welles who resides in Alaska. His children, niece and nephew, Noel and Luke Welles and families reside in Alaska. Brother Donald and sister in law- Beth (Folts) Welles are residing in Georgia. Their two daughters, Karen and family reside in Georgia as well as Julianne and her family in Alaska. Her third brother Richard and sister in law-Linda (Bentz) Welles family includes three nephews, Andrew, Steven, and Thomas along with their families residing in New York and Pennsylvania. She is further survived by fourteen great nieces and nephews as well as four great-great nieces and nephews.
