Barbara Ann Chandler age 88 of Horseheads, Ny passed away on Wednesday December 24, 2025. She was born December 7, 1937 in Sayre Pennsylvania the daughter of the late John P. Starr and Ruth Margaret Patterson. Barbara married her husband H. Karl Chandler on December 22, 1956 and their son Sheridan LaRue Chandler was born on October 7, 1960. Barabara was a graduate of Pauldine's Beauty School and became a hairdresser , worked security at the airport and at Rosenbaum's at The Mall. She loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them. Barbara is survived by her son and daughter-in-law : Sheridan La Rue and Lisa Ann Turner Chandler; grandson : Joshua LaRue and Tesha Mitsuko Lewis Chandler ; granddaughter: Jessica Marlee Chandler Makowiec and Colin John Makowiec ; twin great grandchildren: Bristol Jade Chandler and Talon Reed Chandler; sister: Vicki Claire Starr Scaffidi ; niece: Monique Ann Scaffidi; nephew: Paul Joseph Scaffidi ; grand niece Victoria Katerina Scaffidi; many extended family members and friends. It was Barbara's wishes that there be no prior calling. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a time to be announced.
