Herbert F. Bauman of Pine Valley, NY passed away on Monday February 16, 2026. He was a Veteran of The US NAVY and the manager at A&P and worked for Stroehmann Bread and Jubilee Foods. In addition to his parents, Herb was pre-deceased by his son-in-law Mickey Kastenhuber and by his daughter-in-law Karen Lynn Kastenhuber Bauman. Herb is survived by his children: Debbie (Terry) Golden , Judy Bauman Kastenhuber, Lori Sheehy, and Jim Bauman; grandchildren: Brad (Alice) Golden, Jamie Golden, Jeremy (Lindsay) Kastenhuber, Justin Kastenhuber, Jason Sheehy, Shannon Sheehy; great grandchildren: Aubrie, Kaylee, Thea, and Easton Kastenhuber; several nieces, nephews, and many special friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Saturday February 21, 2026 from 1-3 PM. Mr. Bauman's Funeral and Committal Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours with Pastor Jack Deyo and Mike Kelly officiating.
