Ann L. O'Mara age 91 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Friday February 20, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 25, 1934 in Pulaski , NY the daughter of the late Roy and Clara Clark Fellers. Ann married the love of her life, John F. O'Mara, on February 4, 1956 and they recently celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother , and great grandmother. Ann was a devout Catholic and a longtime communicant of St. Mary Our Mother Church in Horseheads, NY. She was involved in numerous organizations in the community. Ann loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them, especially the summers ( and some winters) on Lake Ontario She is survived by her loving and devoted husband John F. O' Mara; her loving children: Mary Lou (Stephen) Eckler of Horseheads, NY ; Beth (Vincent) Azzarelli of Horseheads, NY ; Ellen (Bernard) Paprocki of Baldwinsville, NY ; John (Diane) O'Mara III of Cary , NC ; Thomas F. (Marilyn) O'Mara of Horseheads, NY. She was blessed with thirteen grandchildren. Mary Eckler Mastracci (Daryl), Jennifer Eckler Powell (Gregory), Matthew Eckler (Theresa), Vincent Azzarelli, Susan Azzarelli Whittaker (Michael) , Jessica Paprocki Renner (Justin) , Bernard Paprocki, John O'Mara IV (Jenn), Patrick O'Mara and Meghan O'Mara, Caroline O'Mara, Catherine O'Mara, and Thomas O'Mara Jr.; and eight great grandchildren Emma and Eliza Mastracci, Nora, Molly and Charles Powell, Brooke and Ryan Eckler, and Lucy Renner; sisters and brother-in-law: Betty and Wayne Greene of Mexico , NY and Kay Kelly of Liverpool , NY ; sister-in-law : Margaret Carroll of Bainbridge, NY; several nieces, nephews, cousins , and a host of caring friends. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Ann's Life will be held on Friday February 27, 2026 at 11AM at St. Mary Our Mother Church 816 West Broad Street Horseheads, NY. The Rev. John Canorro will be the Celebrant of Ann's Funeral Mass. Ann will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, NY.
