Gary R. Rhodehouse age 86 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Friday March 6, 2026 at Elcor Nursing Home. Gary was born in Norwich, NY on October 5, 1939. He was a veteran serving his country with The US NAVY from 1957 - 1961. He married his wife , Mary Christine Gridley Rhodehouse, after meeting at the movie theater in Penn Yan, NY. Gary had owned Rhodehouse Landscaping in Palm Beach, Florida for many years. He was pre-deceased by his son Daniel Rhodehouse . Gary is survived by his former wife Mary Christine Gridley Rhodehouse of Watkins Glen , NY; his children: Kathleen Ann Smith(Tyrone) Baccile of South Carolina , Shannon Marie Rhodehouse McCarthy of Tennessee, Christopher M. Rhodehouse (Mary Mostellar) of Horseheads, NY ; daughter-in-law: Wendy J. (Mrs. Daniel) Rhodehouse of Chemung, NY ; several grandchildren, great grandchildren , nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Gary's Funeral Services on Friday March 20, 2026 at 1 PM at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY where Full Military Honors will be accorded Mr. Rhodehouse.
