Sandra K. Matkosky age 82 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Sunday March 22, 2026. Sandra was born in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Raymond and Beatrice Dibble Brooks. She married her husband, John Matkosky, and he pre-deceased her in 2012. Sandra was retired from LRC Electronics / Thomas & Betts in Horseheads, NY. Sandra was also pre-deceased by her grandson Justy Matkosky on July 14, 2017. She loved to travel, knitting, crocheting , and her dog and cats. Sandra loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them. Sandra is survived by her twin daughters Yvonne Matkosky and Yvette Matkosky; son and daughter-in-law: Gregory and Theresa "Terry" Matkosky of Pittsburgh, PA ; grandchildren: Casey Matkosky , Cody R. Shoemaker, Amanda Matkosky, Matthew Matkosky, and Cameron Matkosky; great grandchildren: Harper Matkosky, Bella Shoemaker, Brycen Shoemaker, Addison Matkosky, and Andrew Matkosky; brothers and sisters-in-law: Eddie Brooks of Elmira, NY and Jack & Christine Brooks of Horseheads, NY; sisters: Shirley Hewlett of Texas , Beatrice & James Dibble of Florida , and Debbie & Mark Warner of Pennsylvania; several nieces, nephews , cousins and a host of caring friends.
