Barbara Ann Mitstifer age 74 of Cayuta , NY passed away on Sunday February 15, 2026. Barbara was born July 25, 1951 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Carlton H. Eddy Jr. and Lois Ann Swan Eddy. She was a registered Nurse at The Arnot Ogden Hospital and the Horseheads High School. She was also pre-deceased by her first husband Edward J. Williams on December 4, 1993 and her second husband Ralph Dean Mitstifer Sr. on June 2, 2025 and by her sister Candy Lynn Countryman on July 7, 2000 and by her brother Hugh Scott Eddy on April 14, 2017. Barbara is survived by her daughters Cheryl Barton of Van Etten, NY and Tanya Mitstifer of Florida ; sons: Jason Williams of Horseheads, NY and Ralph D. Mitstifer Jr. of Cayuta, NY; grandchildren: Sarah Barton , Camrin DePrimo and Zoey Barton; sisters and brother: Wendy Allen of Breesport ,NY , Sandy Collins , and Carlton W. Eddy III of Horseheads, NY; several brothers-in-law , sisters-in-law , nieces nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Barbara's Life on Saturday May 9, 2026 at THE WAY CENTER 132 Oakwood Avenue Elmira Heights, NY beginning at 12 Noon.
