Charles William "Chuck" Edmister age 89 of Horseheads , NY passed away on Wednesday May 6, 2026 at Elcor Nursing Home. He was born in Elmira, NY the son of the late Fred Raymond Edmister and Leona Gardner Edmister. Chuck was also pre-deceased by his wife Linda Patrick. He was a Truck Driver for J.C.D. Transportation in Elmira, NY. Charles is survived by his daughters Brenda Edmister of Inverness, Florida and Katrina Lourdiane of Elmira Heights, NY; sister-in-law and good friend: Jane Edmister of Elmira, NY; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends including Virginia Livermore and her children Tyler and Emily. Charlie and his wife loved going to Florida every year. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. Relatives and friends may call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Tuesday May 19, 2026 from 11AM to 12 Noon. Mr. Edmister's Funeral Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours. The Rev. James Radford will officiate. Charles will be laid to rest in Rural Home Cemetery in Big Flats, NY. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorial donations to a charity of one's choice or plant a tree in Charlie's memory.
