Evelyn "Evie" Coolbaugh of Horseheads, NY passed away on Sunday August 16, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. She was pre-deceased by her parents William and Esther Conklin. Evie is survived by her husband of 32 years Robert W. Coolbaugh of Horseheads, NY ; her daughters: Heather (Neil) Mathews of Eatonton , GA and Lisa (Tim) Pronti of Berkshire, NY ; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Evelyn graduated from Horseheads High School Class of 1966. She was a retired receptionist at I.D. Booth in Elmira, NY where she was known as "the voice behind the phone" for many years. Even before her retirement, she spent her life doting on her family with unwavering love. Her light remains in those she loved and will be remembered by many. Her kindness and understanding were truly the greatest gift you could receive.
