Dear Susie, John, Gary and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Gene's homegoing to heaven. It's so hard for the ones left behind but who knows what amazing sights, sounds and wonders he is now experiencing in heaven, not to mention being face to face with our loving savior Jesus! I like to imagine that he's enjoying a reunion boat trip with my Dad and his Mom as we all enjoyed together for so many years on Seneca Lake and vacation boating trips.
In the words of one of my favorite preachers, "he is not in your past, he is in your future." You will see him again and spend together in eternity! In the meantime, I'm praying that God will envelop you in His peace that passes all understanding during this time of grief.
Much love,
Bonnie (Kania) Evans

My heart is heavy but Gene is at peace. I will always remember his laugh-his wisecracks and how he loved Omaha steaks & oysters! My prayers are with you all, Susie!
