Obituary of Catherine M. Wright

CATHERINE M. WRIGHT Age 92 of Horseheads , NY passed away on Sunday December 2 , 2018 at The Arnot Ogden Medical Center with her loving family at her side. Catherine was born September 10 , 1926 in Savona , NY the daughter of the late John and Catherine Romance Machuga. She married her husband Chauncey J. Wright on August 27 , 1949 and he pre-deceased her on July 18 , 1986 . Catherine was also pre-deceased by her son-in-law John E. Kravec on February 28 , 2012 as well as her sisters Ann Seymour and Helen Stethers and her brothers Andrew , Steve , John , Joseph , and Nicholas Machuga . She was a communicant of St. Mary Our Mother Church in Horseheads, NY. After her retirement from R.H. Kimber Optician in Elmira , NY Catherine devoted her life to her grandchildren and great grandchildren . Catherine is survived by her daughter Jodyann W. Kravec of St. Petersburg , FL ; grandchildren : Juliann C. (Robert) Eberlin of Elmira,NY, Jamie C. (Dennis) Dunne of California , and Michael M. Kravec of St. Petersburg , FL ; great grandchildren : Jayliann , John Michael , Scarlett, and Robert ; several nieces , nephews , and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Catherine's Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday December 6, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Mary Our Mother Church 816 West Broad Street Horseheads , NY. Catherine will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Chauncey in Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira , NY.
