Obituary of William H. Game

William H. "Bill" Game age 65 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Tuesday December 19, 2023. Bill was born December 16,1958 in Elmira , NY the son of the late Dr. Harold Francisco Game Jr. and Alberta Louise Daly Game. He was a graduate of Horseheads High School Class of 1977. Bill married his wife , Elaine M. Root Game, on June 25, 1988 and they would have celebrated their 36th Wedding Anniversary on June 25, 2024. Bill was a retired UPS Driver with many years of dedicated service . He was an active member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Horseheads, NY where served as a vestryman and caretaker of the church. Bill was also a longtime board member of The Horseheads Youth Bureau and member of The Horseheads Elks Lodge # 2297. Bill loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them. Bill is survived by his wife and best friend Elaine ; his daughters and sons-in-law : Lauren N. and Collin Archambeault of Lebanon, TN and Kirsten and Christopher Golden of Corning, NY ; grandson: Theodore William Archambeault of Lebanon , TN; his brothers and sisters: Sashi Game and Jeff Brown , Rick and Debbie Game , Connie and Tom Griffin , Linda Game , Brigid and Bob Struble, and Kevin and Lisa Game ; many many nieces , nephews, cousins and a host of caring friends . Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Friday December 29, 2023 from 1-3 and 5-7 PM. Bill's Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 30, 2023 at 12 Noon at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church 408 South Main Street Horseheads, NY.
