Obituary of Michael W. Berhannan
Michael "Mike" Berhannan
October 25,1955-December 6, 2024
It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Michael "Mike" Berhannan, who left this world on (Wednesday), Friday Evening. While his passing was unexpected, we take comfort in knowing he is now reunited in Heaven with his parents, Winnie and Ray Berhannan, his brother Dan Berhannan, and his sister Roxy Darwin.
Mike was born on October 25, 1955 and grew up in Horseheads, NY where he graduated from Horseheads High School. He continued his education at Alfred Tech. Mike dedicated his professional life to Corelle Brands (formerly World Kitchen), where he worked tirelessly as a Lehr Operator from 1986 until the present day. Mike's work ethic, reliability, and commitment to his job were unmatched, and his colleagues will remember him as a steadfast and kind presence.
Mike was alight in this world-full of life, always smiling and sharing laughter that was truly contagious. He loved people deeply and had a rare gift for making everyone feel like family. Mike was incredibly social, known , and loved by so many. He could brighten any room, and his friendships were a testament to his caring and kind nature.
In his personal life, Mike's passions brought him great joy. He loved playing guitar and singing – music was a constant companion. He was also an avid Buffalo Bills fan, cheering them on through every season. Mike had a talent for the card game of Euchre and enjoyed playing it with friends.
Mike is survived by his life companion of 36 years Pattie Troccia and her three children, whom he loves as his own--Alisa Troccia, Jessica Troccia, and Chad Troccia. He also adored Jessica's children, Jordan, Lake,
and Hudson, whom he cherished as his grandchildren by heart. They brought him endless pride and joy.
Mike is also survived by his brother-in-law, Bob Darwin , his nephews Anthony, Dwayne, and Brian Darwin, and his beloved aunts Mary Swan and Evelyn Swan, along with many cousins on both the Berhannana and Swan sides.
Mike was pre-deceased by his parents Winnie and Ray Berhannan, his brother Dan Berhannan, and his sister Roxy Darwin.
