Daniel E. Cranmer age 65 of Corning, NY passed away at Elcor Nursing Home on Tuesday January 14, 2025. He was born May 26, 1959 in Newfoundland, Canada the son of the late Rex Cranmer and Sandra Lamberson . Daniel was a journeyman mechanic at Corning Inc. for many years. He enjoyed hunting and going to garage sales. He also loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Michigan Wolverines. Daniel loved his family and friends and treasured his grandchildren the most. Daniel is survived by his sons and their families Daniel O. & Michele Cranmer and their children Emmah Johnston and Sophia Cranmer of Corning, NY as well as Timothy & Danielle Cranmer and their children Owen, Bradley , and Paige Cranmer of Millerton , PA ; adopted daughters: Skylee and Kierra Cranmer ; brothers and sisters: Mark Cranmer, James Clifford , Jeff Cranmer, Brenda Cranmer, and Rebecca Cranmer; aunt & uncle : Margaret & Donald Knaus ; several nieces, nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends. A Memorial Service honoring Daniel's Life will be held on Saturday January 25, 2025 at The Prattsburgh Baptist Church 5 North Main Street Prattsburgh, NY at 1 PM. The Rev.
