Obituary of John Letawa

LETAWA John R. Age 79 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Wednesday November 14, 2012. John was born on February 5, 1933 in Blossburg, PA the son of the late Rudolph and Martha Mahonski Letawa. He married his wife Thelma Holman on July 21, 1953 and they celebrated their 59th Wedding Anniversary this year. Mr. Letawa was a Veteran of the Korean War serving his country with the U.S. Marine Corp. He is retired from Thatcher Glass/Anchor Glass. John is survived by his loving wife Thelma; son and daughter-in-law: Todd and Tiffany Letawa of Melbourne, FL; daughter and son-in-law: Kelly and Andrew Flynn of Albany, NY; grandson: Gavin Letawa; nieces and nephews: Thomas, Paola, Josh Farina, and Alicia Maynard. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment in Woodlawn National Cemetery Where Full Military Honors will be accorded Mr. Letawa.
