Warren T. Roe Obituary

ROE Warren T. Age 92 of Horseheads , NY passed away on Friday April 20 , 2012 at Bethany Manor. Warren was born September 18 1919 in Daggett , PA the son of the late Glenn Walter Roe and Mary Morse Roe. He was a Veteran of WW II serving his country with The U.S. Army Air Forces attaining the rank of Master Sergeant. Warren was a retired millwright at General Electric in Elmira , NY. Mr. Roe was pre-deceased by his first wife Nora Roe on December 9 , 1968 and by his second wife Jane E. Tengstrand Roe on November 24 , 2007 . Warren was also pre-deceased by his sisters and brothers Edith McCormick , Beatrice Cardone , Wesley Roe , and Walter Roe . Warren loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them. Mr. Roe is survived by his daughter and son-in-law : Catherine M. & Richard McLaughlin of Breesport , NY ; son and daughter-in-law : Stephen J. & Andrea Roe of Riverside , CA ; grandchildren : David & Kimberly Wennberg , Amy & Christopher Allen , Devin McLaughlin , Todd Roe , Rebecca Roe & Peter Olson , and Stephanie Roe ; great grandchildren : Maggie Wennberg , Victor Olson-Roe , and Nico Olson-Roe ; sisters : Jean Coe of Florida , Betty (Norman) Mitcheltree of Webster , NY , and Ernestine Herrick of Rochester , NY ; several sisters-in-law , brothers-in-law , nieces , nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends . Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY on Friday April 27 , 2012 from 6-8 PM . Mr. Roe's Funeral and Commital Services will follow calling hours with Full Military Honors accorded Mr. Roe at the Funeral Home . The Rev. Lew Brown will officiate . Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads , NY at the convenience of the family.
