Obituary of Ruth L. Miller

MILLER , RUTH L. Age 86 of Horseheads , NY passed away on Sunday April 10 , 2016. Ruth was born on July 16, 1929 in Hornell, NY the daughter of the late Maynard and Clara Hamm Lamb. She was a retired Inspector for Hardinge Brothers in Elmira, NY. Ruth was an Auxilary Member of the Horseheads American Legion Post #442 for many years. She was pre-deceased by her brothers Richard Lamb, Lynford Lamb , and Donald Lamb. Ruth is survived by her Loving and Long-Time Companion of 40 years Charles L. Hamilton of Horseheads, NY ; son and daughter-in-law: Raymond C. and Patricia C. Miller of Kingston, NY ; daughter: Susan O'Donnell of Horseheads, NY; grandchildren: Justin R. Miller of Henderson, NV , Emily J. Miller , Sydney N. Miller , Owen H. Miller , Megan L. Miller, and Regan E. Miller all of Hamilton , NY , and Luke and Jessica Nevans of Hudson, Florida ; great grandchildren: Kayden and Elijah Nevans of Hudson, Florida ; sisters-in-law: Helen (Mrs. Lynford) Lamb of Arizona ; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of caring friends including Charlie's Family. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY on Thursday April 14, 2016 from 9AM-11AM. Ruth's Funeral Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 11 AM with Rev. Dr. David Sullivan officiating.
