Obituary of Beverly J. Farr

FARR , BEVERLY J. BURNS The Lord came down, lifted her gently in his arms to take her to Heaven on Thursday May 12, 2016. Beverly was born to Robert R. and Phyllis Edwards Burns in Elmira , NY on May 27,1953. She was also pre-deceased by her twin sons Donald F. Farr II and Daniel W. Farr on June 28 1991. Beverly leaves behind her fun loving husband of 25 years Donald F. Farr ; her daughter Alexandra M. Farr who she loved unconditionally and was very proud of. Also surviving her are sisters: Trudy Burns and Bonnie Burns both of Elmira , NY ; brother and sister-in-law : Robert C. & Margie Burns of Peabody , MA and their family ; several cousins and many good friends. She loved her dog Biggy Boy who was always right by her side. Bev was a member of a special group of women who got together for the past 41 years and had many laughs and supported each other. She was employed by Chemung County for 26 years having retired as an insurance specialist. Bev had an infectious smile and laughter which everyone loved . She was gentle and kind to everyone she met. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Ideal Senior Living Center for their excellent and compassionate care given to Beverly. Relatives and friends are invited to call at St. Mary's Church 224 Franklin Street Elmira , NY on Tuesday May 17 , 2016 from 11 AM until 12 Noon. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Beverly's Life will follow calling hours with the Rev. Robert C. MacNamara officiating .
