Obituary of Donna M. Boor

BOOR , DONNA M. Age 75 of Horseheads , NY passed away on Sunday June 12 , 2016 at Corning Guthrie Hospital. Donna was born March 24 , 1941 in Elmira , NY the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice G. Seeley Denkenberger. She was a graduate of Horseheads High School and received her Associate's Degree from Corning Community Center . Donna married her husband , Paul F. Boor , on August 22 , 1959 and they would have celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary on August 22 , 2016. She was pre-deceased by her father and her mother , her brother Daniel L. Denkenberger , her sister Alice June Frycek , her brother Robert G. Denkenberger, and her brother Joseph F. Denkenberger . Donna was a retired District Manager with Combined Life Insurance Company . She loved her family and friends as well as her pets and treasured the time she spent with them. Donna is survived by her loving and devoted husband Paul F. Boor ; her daughter and son-in-law : Lisa M. & Arthur Gaetano of Fox Lake , Illinois ; her brother and sister-in-law : Edward & Kazuko Denkenberger of Horseheads , NY ; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law : Richard Frycek of Horseheads , NY , Jean (Mrs. Joseph F. ) Denkenberger of New Albany , Indiana , Vivian Denkenberger of Maryland , Buna (Mrs. Ivan) Boor of Horseheads , NY ; several nieces , nephews , cousins and a host of caring friends . Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY on Thursday June 16 , 2016 from 7-8 PM . Donna's Funeral and Committal Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 8 PM.
