Obituary of Paul F. Boor

BOOR PAUL F. Age 79 of Veteran Hill Road Horseheads, NY passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016. Paul was born in Elmira, NY the son of the late Stephen and Elizabeth Kurtz Boor. He married his wife Donna Denkenberger Boor on August 22, 1959 who preceded him in death on June 12, 2016. His only brother Ivan S. Boor also preceded him in death on January 3, 2002. Paul was an Army Veteran. He was a retired farmer. He also retired from the New York State Corrections Department where he managed the Elmira Department of Corrections Farm. He is survived by his only child, daughter Lisa Boor Gaetano and son-in-law Arthur Gaetano of Fox Lake, Il, sister-in-law Buna Boor, niece Lori Boor and her son Daniel Stroman, and nephew Stevie Boor and his wife Leah Boor. Paul is also survived by his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Jean Denkenberger, Kazuko Denkenberger, Dick Frycek and Vivian Denkenberger and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Thursday September 29, 2016 from 6-7PM. Mr. Boor's Funeral Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 7PM.
