Obituary of Konrad Lane Bachert

BACHERT , KONRAD LANE Age 61 of Elmira , NY passed away on Wednesday November 2 , 2016 . Konrad was born May 4 , 1955 in Elmira , NY the son of John L. and Sally A. Brewer Bachert . He was a Disabled Veteran having served his country with The U. S. MARINE CORPS from 1974-1976 and with The U. S. ARMY from 1977-1981 . Konrad married his wife DeAnn L. Grey Bachert on February 15 , 1999 and she pre-deceased her on May 6 , 2014. He was also pre-deceased by his father John L. Bachert and his sister Marilyn Williams . Konrad is survived by his mother Sally A. Brewer Bachert Randolph of Elmira , NY ; sons: Konrad L. Bachert II of Elmira , NY and Brandt W. Bachert of Elmira , NY ; 2 grandchildren ; brothers : Robert & Liz Brewer of Florida , John (Diane) Bachert and Rick (Cheryl) Bachert both of Elmira , NY , and Dan Bachert of Florida ; sister: Sharon (Eugene) Saxton of Elmira , NY ; father-in-law : Dennis Grey of Elmira , NY ; several aunts , uncles , nieces , nephews , cousins , members of DeAnn's family , and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY on Monday November 7 , 2016 from 5-7 PM. Konrad's Funeral Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours with Deacon George Welch officiating. Konrad will be laid with his wife DeAnn in Woodlawn Cemetery on Tuesday at 10:30 AM where Full Military Honors will be accorded to Mr. Bachert.
