Obituary of Mildred F. Yeman

YEMAN MILDRED F. "MILLIE" Age 85 of Elmira Heights, NY passed away on Friday May 12, 2017. Millie was born on June 27, 1931 in Oneida, NY the daughter of the late Carlo and Maria Stella Perrino Sforza. Millie married her husband Donald E. Yeman on April 18, 1953. She was a Director and Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics in Dallas, TX. Mrs. Yeman was a communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church. Millie was a reporter for The Senior Notebook, a member of the Crystal Chords, and an Avid Bowler. Mrs. Yeman was pre-deceased by her husband Donald E. Yeman on January 9, 1999 after 45 blissful years of marriage. She was also pre-deceased by her grandson Christopher Knotts on October 22, 2014 as well as her brothers and sisters. Millie was the last of 8 children. Millie is survived by her daughters and son-in-law: Beverly and Thomas M. Knotts of Oneida, NY, and Donna A. Yeman of Corning, NY; grandson Dr. Adam and Rosanna Knotts of Corning, NY ; several nieces , nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Tuesday May 16, 2017 from 4-7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday May 17, 2017 at 10AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church 130 Oakwood Avenue Elmira Heights, NY with the Rev. Scott M. Kubinski officiating. Mrs. Yeman will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Donald in Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira, NY.
