Obituary of David A. Crowle

DAVID A. CROWLE Age 63 of Horseheads , NY passed away on Monday September 4 , 2017 after a long illness. David was born October 1 , 1953 in Cleveland , Ohio the son of the late George and Ruth Bonfield Crowle . He received his Bachelor's Degree in Enviromental Sciences from Ohio University . David married his wife Sharon Magnes Crowle on June 29 , 1985 and they recently celebrated their 32nd Wedding Anniversary. He was an Enviromental Manager for Kennedy Valve in Elmira , NY prior to his illness. David was an avid outdoorsman and he loved fishing , camping , and boating. In addition to his parents , David was pre-deceased by his sister Janet Crowle. David loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them . David is survived by his loving and devoted wife Sharon Magnes Crowle ; his daughter : Devin Anne Crowle of Buffalo , NY ; his son : Zachary Crowle of Ann Arbor , Michigan ; sisters and brother-in-law : Vivian & Jon Pospisil of Cleveland Heights , Ohio and Barbara Crowle of Cleveland Heights , Ohio ; mother-in-law : Anna Mae Magnes of Lorain , Ohio ; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law : Donald & Mary Magnes of Dayton , Ohio and Michael Magnes of Bowling Green , Ohio ; several aunts , uncles , nieces , nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends . It was David's wish that there be no prior calling hours . Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 15 , 2017 at 11 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish 363 West 11th Avenue Extension in Homestead , PA . David will be laid to rest in St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery in Munhall , PA. In lieu of flowers , memorial contributions can be made to Earthwatch Institute or Doctors Without Borders.
