Obituary of Annabelle Curkendall

Annabelle Curkendall, 78, of Elmira Heights, New York (formerly of Candor, New York) passed away October 24, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born February 11, 1939 in Ithaca, NY to the late Louise Wiggins. She was predeceased in 2016 by Charles, her loving husband of 58 years, beloved son Kyle in 2014, and her brother Joe. Survived by her sons and daughters: Michael of Horseheads, Richard of Elmira Heights, Cassie (David) Dickinson of Elmira, Colleen (John) Hughes of Breesport, Kevin (Teresa) Curkendall of Tennessee, and daughter-in-law Rebecca Curkendall of Candor. Her grandchildren: Shannon (Tom) Lipscomb, Zackory (Lindsay) Curkendall, Sarah (Chris Beach) Curkendall, Cory Curkendall, Kristy (Sanel) Miljkovic, Keri Curkendall, Katy (Glen Turner) Curkendall, Asia Curkendall, Calvin Curkendall, Curtis Campanelli, Ashley Dickinson, Matthew (Erica Kinch) Dickinson, Joshua (Megan) Lattimer, Dustin (Aryn Boyer) Lattimer, Desiree Lattimer, Devin Curkendall, and Kara Curkendall. Her step-grandchildren: Andrew Hughes, John Hughes Jr., and Kinlee Collins. Plus, 20 great-grandchildren and her fur baby Bojangles. Her siblings Ruthie (Bernard) Blinn, Carolyn Shisler, George Wiggins, Flay (Lloyd) Shisler. Brother-in-law, Pete Curkendall. Sister-in-law Marlene (Pete) Velletri. And many special nieces and nephews. She was retired from Jubilee Foods of Horseheads, NY. She loved her family, traveling, bird watching, flowers, and gambling. Interment and graveside service will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Candor, New York at 1 PM on Saturday, October 28, 2017 with a luncheon immediately following at the United Methodist Church in Candor, New York at 224 Owego Street.
