I was truly blessed to have known you for so many years.Your smile and laugh was contagious. I will always remember you taking my hand and pulling me close for a hug. And when we would hold hands and I would say go Val and you would dance. I know your are among our other angels. Miss and love you.

Valerie will be remembered with much love by her foster family in Elmira Heights/Elmira, New York. My grandparents Harold and Ruth Green (both deceased now) lovingly cared for Valerie for over 30 years, making her a very dear part of our family.
As a child, I can remember on Sunday afternoons, sitting on the floor with her sharing my dolls and then watched as my daughter did the same. All of us hold a very dear place in our hearts for her.
Valerie touched a great many hearts during her lifetime. We offer our condolences, may God bring comfort to all of you. May her memory be eternal.

My family sends our deepest condolences with the passing of Valerie. Valerie was a big part of our lives, where ever my Grammy and Grampy (Harold Green) were, there was Valerie. Valerie was just 3 years older than me, so from the time I can remember her favorite place was next to my Grampy. The love they all shared was priceless and I will always remember. Though Valerie could not communicate vocally, you knew how she felt and from that I learned a lot! God bless you all.

I am sorry for your loss. My grandparents were Harold and Ruth Green, her foster parents. I grew up with Valerie. She was a part of all my childhood memories with Grammy and Grampy. Her unconditional love taught me so much. I treasure the lessons I learned watching them interact. Thank you for sharing her with my family. May God bless and comfort you at this time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Valerie was a big part of my life because my grandfather was her foster parent (Harold Green) she was a part of the family as much as anyone else and we all loved her so much. She touched our lives like no other person could. I’m glad I knew her and she loved my Grampy and Grammy so much. We lost touch with her when they died and some of us cousins were just talking about her recently and wondering how she was. Thank you for sharing her with us. And again I’m sorry.
