Obituary of Thelma J. Wood

THELMA J. WOOD Age 91 formerly of Breesport , NY passed away on Friday August 24 , 2018 . Thelma was born April 9 , 1927 in Bath , NY the daughter of the late Delbert and Emma Francis. She married her husband , Albert L. Wood Sr. , on May 3 , 1946 and he pre-deceased her on December 25 , 1999 . Thelma was also pre-deceased by her sons William David Wood on February 1 , 1989 , Richard L. Wood on December 29, 2017 , and Ernest L. Wood on February 8 , 2018. She was a long-time member of The Breesport Fire Department Auxiliary . She loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them. Mrs. Wood is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law : Albert L. & Kathie Wood Jr. of Breesport , NY , Robert L. & Terri Wood of Erin , NY , Franklin L. Wood of Oregon , John S. Wood of Erin , NY , David S.Wood of Erin ,NY , Eunice (Mrs. Richard L.) Wood of Horseheads , NY , and Eve (Mrs. Ernest L) Wood of Goose Creek , SC ; several grandchildren , great grandchildren , nieces , nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends . Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY on Thursday August 30 , 2018 from 4-7 PM. Mrs. Wood's Funeral and Committal Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 7 PM .
