Obituary of Dennis L. Sheldon

DENNIS L. SHELDON SR. Age 75 of Horseheads , NY passed away on Wednesday September 12 , 2018. Denny was born January 2 , 1943 in Batavia , NY the son of the late Bernard Sheldon and Beatrice Weethee . He married his wife Sandra L. Manwaring, Sheldon, on August 12 , 2000, and they recently celebrated their 18th Wedding Anniversary. In additions to his parents, Denny is pre-deceased by his brothers John Carlson and Jack Norris. Denny was a retired maintenance worker at Bethany Village for many years Denny is survived by his wife Sandra ; his children : Dina Charlotte Fields of Zephryhills, Florida , Dennis L. & Lana Sheldon Jr. of Chicago , Illinois , Timothy & Rocelee-Benedicto Sheldon of New Hartford , NY , and David Sheldon of Towanda , PA ; grandchildren: Sarah Sheldon , Emerald Rebecca Baldwin , Nigella Sophia Cabazal , Nikki Shane Sheldon , Tim Berden ,and Tara Marie Major ; step-daughters : Tina Todzia and Nancy Swank ; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren ; sisters : JoAnn Sheldon Doane of Erin , NY and Dawn Parsons of Corning, NY ; brother and sister-in-law : Jeff & Lisa Carlson of Erin , NY ; several nieces , nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY on Wednesday September 19 , 2018 from 6-7 PM.
