Obituary of Terry Alan Hartsock

TERRY ALAN HARTSOCK SR. Age 66 of Millport, NY passed away on Tuesday October 9, 2018 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Terry was born September 30, 1952 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Gordon E. and Waneta J. Clark Hartsock Sr. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving his country from 1970-1971. He was also pre-deceased by his brother Larry Hartsock on July 10, 1979 , twin brother Gerry L. Hartsock Sr. on December 14, 2010, and his brother Gordon E. Hartsock Jr. on September 27, 2016 , his mother Waneta J. Clark Hartsock on August 28, 2018 and by his father Gordon E. Hartsock Sr. on September 24, 2018. Terry was a school bus driver for the Horseheads School District. He was also a member of the Millport Fire Dept. with over 40 years of service. Terry loved his family and friends and cherished the times spent with them. Terry is survived by his loving and devoted wife Mary C. Hill Hartsock; son and daughter-in-law: Terry A. "Rusty" and Jane Hartsock Jr. of Horseheads, NY; daughter: Samantha Garcia of Moultrie, GA; grandchildren: C.J., Yasmin, Tony, Daisy, Brandi, Asher, Jillian; and 7 great grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law: Paul Hartsock and Mark and Skip Hartsock all of Millport, NY; sister and brother-in-law: Michelle and Roger Hartman of Horseheads, NY; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Butch and Doreen Hill; Donnarae and Harry McAuliff; Lewis and Margo Hill; Brett and Theresa Hill; Tim and Clemencia Hill; Penny and Ken Smith; Michael and Dot Hill; and Loretta Masin Hartsock; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of caring friends including Terry's former wife Yvonne Hartsock. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Saturday October 13, 2018 from 11AM-1PM. Terry's Funeral Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 1PM with the Rev. Jack Deyo officiating. Full Military Honors will be accorded Mr. Hartsock at the Funeral Home.
