Obituary of Garrin N. Erickson

GARRIN N. SHELTON ERICKSON Age 32 of Fremont, CA formerly of Horseheads, NY passed away very unexpectedly on Monday October 29 , 2018 . Garrin was born July 10, 1986 in Vicenza , Italy the daughter of Robin and Tracy Sweet Shelton. She was a competition Dancer at Filipetti's Dance Academy and a graduate of Horseheads High School Class of 2004. Garrin was a graduate of Niagara University Class of 2008 . Garrin was a huge Harry Potter and Dr. Who Fan. She was the "Best Big Sister" and friend to many. Garrin was very active in I.T.P Awareness (Immune Thrombocytopenia Disorder/Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia Purpura). Garrin married her husband Christopher Erickson on October 24 , 2018 . She was an Accounts Receivable Specialist for Walters & Wolf Interiors . Garrin loved her family and friends and treasured her time spent with them. Garrin is survived by her husband Christopher Erickson ; her mother : Tracy Sweet Shelton and her fiancé Joel Klose of Lowman, NY ; father and step-mother: Robin & Melanie Shelton of Clayton , NC ; sisters and brother-in-law: Courtney Shelton of Brooklyn, NY and Chelsea & Brandon Kaiser of Bremerton, Washington ; half-brother: Whitley Shelton of Bethel, Ohio ; maternal grandmother: Louise Sweet of Horseheads , NY ; several aunts, uncles, nieces , nephews James Thomas Kaiser and Henry Lloyd Kaiser whom their Aunt Garrin loved and adored , cousins , and a host of caring friends . A Memorial Service was held Saturday November 3 , 2018 in California. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Friday November 23, 2018 from 2-5 PM for a Celebration of Garrin's Life.
