Rarely have I been more impressed with a young man. Loving, kind, spiritual, emotional, strong and full of grit. Your struggle with cancer almost took second place to the normalcy you strove to project to those who you were related to or simply knew. I have learned so much from your (and Pat's) example in living the lifetime God allotted. Thank you. I will see you soon!

Joe was one of my truest longest friendships ever. He can never be replaced. By far one of the most unselfish people that I’ve ever known, he always put me and our friendship before his own interests. A real true friend. I love you forever as a brother, nothing but the fondest of memories when I think of you. So sorry for all his family, his wife Pat and his two beautiful children Alyssa and Josh.
