To the Smith family, So sorry to hear of the loss of Kae; she was a beautiful woman inside and out. We remember her infectious laugh whenever we got together at our HHDS teacher's reunion. Her soft demeanor was evident. She dearly loved her wonderful family. Heaven surely is blessed to have her among them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her memories will sustain the Smith family forever. May you all be blessed today as you say good-bye to your dear friend. Rest in peace Kae. Ed and Judie Merritt, Chattanooga TN

With deepest sympathy to all of you.

Kae was the most beautiful, joyful soul. I loved getting together with the Smiths for Christmas. Playing Encore with this family made my holidays that much more memorable. Kae felt like everyone’s mom. She filled my heart.

Deepest sympathy and condolences from my family to yours. Kae was an amazing woman from the first time I met her. My fondest memory however is when I went in to pickup a Barney costume for my Jes’s birthday party. Kae quickly pointed out that I was way to short for that costume while maintaining a straight face. She was a hoot! Although she will be missed , she is with Jesus and no longer struggling. The entire Smith family will be in our prayers.

Dave and I send our deepest sympathy to the Smith family on your loss of our dear friend, Kae. She was one of the most vibrant and caring women I have ever met. I will always cherish the memories I have of working with her as she led our DAR chapter as Regent. She loved her children and "grands" dearly. May she rest in eternal peace.

Dear Art, Andy, Annette, and Adam,
I was so sorry to read of Kae’s passing. She was such an important part of her family, but also the neighborhood and community. She introduced me to the art of stripping wallpaper in our house on Grand Central Avenue. We enjoyed many coffee clatches throughput the neighborhood as we shared stories of our families. She will be missed, but has left so many happy memories. Kae was a treasure we were all lucky to have known.
