Obituary of Mabel G. Howell

MABEL G. HOWELL Age 79 of Newfield , NY passed away on Monday January 28 , 2019. Mabel was born July 21, 1939 in Penn Yan , NY the daughter of the late Samuel C. and Florence Pearson Bump. She married her husband Harold Howell and he pre-deceased her in 1976. Mabel was also pre-deceased by her daughter Betty Moshier , her sisters Bertha Northrop and Dorothy McCormick , and her brothers John Bump and Clifton Bump. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and was an In Home Caregiver for many years and an avid reader. She loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them. Mabel is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law : Jeannette and Aaron Burnett of Horseheads, NY and Yvonne and William Reeves of Trumansburg , NY ; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren ; brother-in-law: Philip McCormick of Van Etten , NY; several nieces , nephews, cousins and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS,NY on Friday February 1, 2019 from 6-8 PM . Mabel's Funeral and Committal Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday February 2, 2019 at 11 AM. Mabel will be laid to rest next to her husband Harold in Union Cemetery of Hector in Hector, NY at the convenience of the family.
