Obituary of Bethel M. Hamilton

HAMILTON , BETHEL MARIE THOMPSON Age 91 of Horseheads , NY Crossed Over on Thursday September 12 , 2013 at home. Bethel was born September 19 , 1921 in Hornell , NY the youngest daughter of the late Charles and Phebie Angel Thompson. She married her husband , Leslie B. Hamilton , on October 12 , 1958 and he pre-deceased her on February 14 , 2010. Bethel was also pre-deceased by her son-in-law Reginald "Reggie" Randolph on November 17 , 2008 , and her sister and brother-in-law Edna & Ben Phillips and all her brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law . She was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church of Horseheads Bethel retired from The A & P Tea Company in Horseheads where she was a produce clerk for many years. Mrs. Hamilton loved her family and friends and "Life on The Hill" and treasured every moment spent with them. Bethel is survived by her loving and devoted daughters and son-in-law : Eileen Taluba Randolph and Terri (Timothy) Russell ; grandchildren : Justin (Abby) Russell and Ashley (Gary) Brown ; great granddaughter : Kaylee Russell ; several nieces , nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends including "Bethel Girls" Tammy , Nicol , Dusty , Lindsy , Tracey , Mary , and Wina. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY on Sunday September 15 , 2013 from 2-4 PM. Mrs. Hamilton's Funeral Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours with the Rev. Rhonda Kouterick officiating . Bethel will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Leslie in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads , NY at the convenience of the family.
