Obituary of Jacque R. Dilmore

JACQUE R. DILMORE Age 87 of Horseheads, NY formerly of Pine Valley, NY passed away on Thursday February 28, 2019 at The Chemung County Nursing Facility. Jacque was born August 5, 1931 in Horseheads , NY the son of the late Sayre and Esther C. Soper Dilmore. He was a Veteran of Korean War serving his country with The U.S. NAVY. Jacque married his wife, Joyce I. Burgess Dilmore, on November 5 , 1955 and they would have celebrated their 64th Wedding Anniversary this year. Jacque was pre-deceased by his daughter Jennifer Jo Pautz on July 2 , 2007 as well as his brothers James Dilmore and Gerald Dilmore . He was a retired employee of Hardinge Brothers Inc . Jacque loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them. Jacque is survived by his loving and devoted wife Joyce ; son and daughter-in-law: John M. and Sheila DIlmore ; daughter: Trinity Marrow ; son-in-law: Scott E. Pautz ; grandson : Jonathan and Becca Huffine and their daughter Bella ; brothers and sisters-in-law Sayre "Butch" and Karen Dilmore Jr. and Donald and Terri Dilmore ; sisters: Elizabeth Harvey , Mary Anne Rudy , Cynthia Collins , and Caroline Jean Mellon ; several nieces , nephews, cousins , and a host of caring friends including special friends Sherri and Chris Withee . The family would like to extend a Special Thank You to entire staff of 6th Chemung County Nursing Facility for their love and compassionate care given Jacque during his stay. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Tuesday March 5 , 2019 from 4-6 PM . Jacque's Funeral and Committal Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours with FULL MILITARY HONORS accorded Mr. Dilmore. The Rev. David Knuppenburg will officiate. Jacque will be laid to rest next to his daughter in Sunnyside Cemetery in Tunkhannock, PA at the convenience of the family.
