Obituary of Donald E. Miles

DONALD E. MILES Age 73 of Elmira Heights, NY passed away on Wednesday November 27, 2019. Don was born September 26, 1946 in Corning, NY the son of the late Dor Leonard Miles and Dorothy Louise Buchanan Miles. He married his wife, Barbara L. Wolfe Miles, on June 17, 1978 and they recently celebrated their 41st Wedding Anniversary. Donald was employed by STAVI in Elmira, NY. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his brother Richard "Dickie" Miles and by his sister Linda Havens. Don loved NASCAR and all sporting events. Don loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them. Donald is survived by his loving and devoted wife Barbara L. Wolfe Miles ; daughters and sons-in-law : Michelle and Michael German of Horseheads, NY and Krystal and Ryan Blake of Elmira Heights,NY ; grandchildren: Brandon German, Nathan German, James German, Leah Miles, Braelyn Minteer, Emily Blake, and Ashly Blake; brothers and sisters-in-law: Rick and Carol Miles of Elmira, NY and Jeff and Marie Miles of North Carolina ; sisters : Lois (Jack Noble) Ballinger of Bath, NY and Colleen Spence of Elmira, NY ; brother-in-law: Lynn Havens of Bath, NY; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends . Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS,NY on Saturday December 21, 2019 from 1-3 PM.
