Obituary of Marie Zauner

Marie DiNardo Zauner age 81 of Horseheads, NY passed away onWednesday December 30, 2020. Marie was born February 23, 1939 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Pasquale and Louise Damiano DiNardo. She attended St. Anthony's School and was a faithful parishoner working at the St. Anthony's Festival for many years. Marie was a retired secretary at Consolidated Gas in Elmira, NY. In addition to her parents, Marie was pre-deceased by her sisters Josephine Cavallaro and Lucy Meister , and her brothers Joseph, Carmen and Angelo DiNardo, and sisters-in-law Kim (Mrs. Joseph) DiNardo and Kay (Mrs. Carmen) DiNardo. Marie loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them. Marie is survived by her husband Robert ; sister-in-law: Gertrude(Mrs. Angelo) DiNardo of Rochester, NY ; brothers-in-laws: Gary Meister of Williamsburg, VA and John Zauner of East Patchogue, L.I. ; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Friday January 8, 2021 from 3-5 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday January 9, 2021 at 11:30 AM at St. Patrick's Church Park Ave. and West Clinton Street in Elmira, NY.
