Obituary of Joyce A. Fiester

Joyce Ann Appleton Fiester Age 85 of Horseheads, NY passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday February 1, 2021. Joyce, born in Elmira, New York was predeceased by her parents Harold & Dorothy A. Quick Appleton and sisters Diane Hodge and Nancy Wetherbee. She lost the love of her life, John "Jack" Fiester in April of 2018. They were married 61 years. Surviving are their 4 children Carolyn (Robert) Draht, Susan (Spencer) Chapin, David Fiester, Christine (Thomas) MacDonald and three much-loved grandchildren, Todd Jandrew, Heather Rice, and Thomas J. MacDonald. Joyce (G.G.) also adored her 5 great grandchildren. Her sister, Jane Allington survives her as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends and family are invited to say goodbye to Joyce at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Friday February 5, 2021 from 2-4 PM. Joyce's Funeral Service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 4PM. Joyce will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Jack in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads.
