Obituary of Geraldine A. Rader

Geraldine A. Rader Age 83 of Elmira, NY passed away on Monday February 1, 2021. She was born on November 16, 1937 in Youngstown, OH the daughter of the late Ward and Mary Pollock Geiger. Geraldine was a retired Senior Key Punch Operator for Chemung County Social Security in Elmira, NY. She was a Veteran of the Korean War serving her country with the U.S. Navy. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband Raymond DeWitt Rader on February 23, 1993. Mrs. Rader is survived by her children: Darlene Rader and fiancé Jim Earnest of Lowman, NY; John and Penny Rader of Corning, NY; Mary Ball of Elmira, NY; Marlene Rose of VanEtten, NY; grandchildren: Amy Ball, Michael Ball, Emma Rader, Timothy Rose, Neil Rose, Justin and Hannah Earnest, Brandan Earnest; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Sunday February 7, 2021 from 2-4 PM. Geraldine's Funeral Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 4 PM. Full Military Honors will be accorded Mrs. Rader. Interment in Woodlawn National Cemetery.
