Obituary of Sarah M. Ahart

SARAH MEEHAN AHART age 66 of Watkins Glen, New York formerly of Horseheads, NY. Sarah was born December 29, 1954 in Elmira, NY the daughter of Richard Meehan and Ann Record Meehan-Clune. She married her husband, Glenn R. Ahart Sr., on November 26, 1988 and they recently celebrated their 32nd Wedding Anniversary. Sarah was pre-deceased by her parents and her brothers Martin G. Meehan and Michael R. Meehan and by her sister Ellen Bluejacket. She loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them. Sarah is survived by her loving and devoted husband Glenn R. Ahart Sr. ; daughters and son-in-law: Abigail and Shawn McGrogan and Jessica Brown; sons and daughter-in-law: Patrick and Corissa Brown, Randy Ahart, and Lori Ahart; grandchildren: Sarah, Alyssa, Evan, Ella, Weston, Waylon, Weldon, and Shay; sisters and brothers: Elizabeth and Mike Bober , Katherine (Mrs. James) Stewart, Joseph Meehan, and Margaret and Joey Graziano; several nieces, nephews, cousins , extended family , and a host of caring friends. A Celebration of Sarah's Life will be held at a time to be announced. Sarah will be laid to rest in Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira, NY at the convenience of the family.
