Obituary of Frederick E. Faucett

Frederick Eugene Faucett (Fred, Freddy) age 63 of Elmira Heights, NY passed away on Friday February 12, 2021 suddenly after a brief battle with cancer. Fred was born October 17, 1957 in Rochester, NY the son of Frederick and Jessie Wilson Faucett. At the age of 19, he enlisted in The U.S. NAVY and proudly served his country from 1977-1981. Fred retired from Elmira College where he worked for many years. Fred was a loving son , husband, grandfather, brother and uncle. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Robin Soule Faucett; mother: Jessie Jeffers; son: Frederick Faucett Jr.; daughters: Denise Faucett, Rose Duty, and Crystal Duty; brothers: William Sr. (Tina) Faucett, James Faucett, and Kenneth Faucett; sisters: Karen (George Sr.) Granger, Tammy (Paul) Bowman, Patience (Kenneth) Evans; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends. Fred was pre-deceased by his father Fred Faucett, his sisters Bonnie Faucett and Candy Bingham, and his step-father Larry Jeffers. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Fred's Life on Saturday February 27, 2021 from 1-5 PM at The Skinner-Ernest American Legion Post #1612 45 Olcott Road South in Big Flats, NY. Full Military Honors will be accorded Mr. Faucett at 2 PM during calling hours. Friends and family are welcome to bring flowers and donations to the celebration of our beloved Freddy "The man, the myth, the legend". You will be missed and God Speed Fred !
