Obituary of Makayla M. Nugent

Makayla M. Nugent age 21 of Elmira, NY passed away on Friday July 23, 2021. She was born December 13, 1999 in Elmira, NY the daughter of Melissa Nugent and Mark Dalrymple. Makayla was pre-deceased by her maternal grandparents Cornelius W. "Hoagy" Nugent and Bonnie Briggs Nugent. Mikayla had attended Alfred University and was returning to this fall to continue her education. She loved music, art, and animals. Mikayla is survived by her mother Melissa Nugent and Victor Santos Sr. of Ithaca, NY ; her father Mark Dalrymple and Lisa Goodwin of Elmira, NY ; brothers: Ryan Mastrantonio and Kyle Mastrantonio both of Horseheads, NY and Anthony Santos of Ithaca, NY ; sisters: Katelynn Utter of North Carolina and Brooklyn Dalrymple of Elmira, NY ; Victor's children: Victoria Santos, Jasmine Santos, Dalia Place, Victor Santos Jr., and Louis Santos; her Pop Pop and Mimi : Mark and Diane Dalrymple of Elmira, NY ; several aunts , uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends including a special aunt Stacie Dalrymple-Ball and Kenneth Ball of North Carolina. A Celebration of Makayla's Life will be held on Saturday July 31, 2021 at 1 PM at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY. Her uncle Rev. Robert Briggs will officiate.
